Inspired by the concept of a pollinators’ garden

Inspired by the concept of a pollinators’ garden, to appeal to our young children and our love of nature, Heather transformed our front yard from a small plain strip of lawn into a beautiful oasis, with year-round interest and plantings that attract bees, hummingbirds and butterflies.  To increase privacy from the street, she contoured the sloping yard vertically and carefully selected trees, shrubs and plants to provide visual interest in the natural sight-lines.  The arbour she designed, provides an impressive entry-way and focal point to the garden.  Heather’s design creativity also included a dry pond to solve the challenge of a naturally damp shady area.  We are very proud of the unique garden Heather created for us and love what it has done to enhance the beauty of our home and neighborhood
